Cisse For Remy - How True Is The Rumour?

Mike Ashley's news website forum 'Sports Direct' is once again giving the impression he is in control of players coming in and those going out.

Every now and again the website throws us a "world exclusive" as a tit-bit, and this week it claims Papiss Cisse has been offered as a swop to Queens Park Rangers for Loïc Rémy.

Remy cost Newcastle £2m for a season-long loan, and Alan Pardew has made it known he would like to sign him.

But, as the Chronicle and Journal are frozen out, Ashley's website leaves him free to say whatever he wants ... and have no-one edit it.

And of course pull the piss out of the supporters, like he did with another world exclusive - "Wayne Rooney to sign for Newcastle!"

The man uses NUFC as a toy, and the fans as an annoyance.

As for Cisse, I wonder how he feels about being used as a stepping stone to Remy's Newcastle career?

Meanwhile Cisse is ready to put his World Cup heartache behind him – by hitting form at Newcastle United. The striker returned to Tyneside from international this week disappointed after Senegal were beaten in a World Cup play-off by Ivory Coast. However, Cisse’s frustration wasn’t evident on the training pitch yesterday ahead of tomorrow’s home game against Norwich City.Alan Pardew: “He was absolutely brilliant – he was our best player on the training ground.“That’s really good to see. He’s focused on getting back in the team and scoring goals.“He’s a big player for us, and we need him in the goals.“I’ve been really boosted by his personality and performance.”Cisse is yet to score a Premier League goal this season.
