Child's play for Carroll

Newcastle striker Andy Carroll dedicated his first goal of the season to his new baby daughter.[LNB]The 20-year-old, who became a father on Tuesday morning, put the Magpies in front at Blackpool.[LNB]Ultimately, his strike was not enough to clinch victory as his side went down 2-1 at Bloomfield Road, but Carroll will always remember his contribution on the night.[LNB]He said: "I'm a dad now - my partner had a baby girl on Tuesday morning and I'm dedicating the goal to her.[LNB]"It was my first goal of the season and I am happy with the goal and to get off the mark but I am not so happy about the result."
