Chief Toon Scout Is Set To Walk Out Over Kinnear Appointment!

20 June 2013 05:35
Newcastle Chief Scout Graham Carr is reported to be considering his future at the club as the fallout from the appointment of Joe Kinnear continues to rumble on.

Carr is highly rated at the club and in the game at large having identified a number of key signings for Newcastle in recent years.

Mike Ashley handed him an unprecedented eight year contract, a first for a club scout, but the arrival of Kinnear has caused bedlum at St James' Park.

Kinnear gave an interview to talkSport on Monday where he claimed to have the final say of transfer decisions.

It is thought that Carr is ready to jump ship rather than begin the season working with Kinnear.

Carr feels that he was a de facto Director of Football and has been undermined by the appointment of Kinnear.
