Chelsea Offer For Tiote?
Will Mike Ashley fend off late offers today for Cheic Tiote? He has been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea this summer but has revealed he is excited about Newcastle United’s new look team. Cheic Tiote: “I am happy here because the future looks bright with the players we have got here. “Everybody is hungry to work hard and succeed. “This team has been playing together now for a while, and I think we understand each other. That’s important as a team. “I think it’s important for me and Yohan to understand each other. “I think we can play well together. “I will try to go forward a lot more now! “And if I can help threaten in the final third that is a very good thing for the team as well. “It was hard in Ghana. “It’s not the same if you’re training alone as when you’re with the team. “I didn’t play a lot of games before the season started, but I’m good now. “I’m happy, because I feel good now. “Missing part of pre-season meant the first game wasn’t easy, but I’m OK now. “I’m working for the team, and improving. “The team played great against Fulham, and that’s why we won. “It’s good for Newcastle – we’ve started the season well. I’m happy for the fans. They went home happy, and we need to focus on the next game. “We have some tough games coming up but if everybody stays together and we keep on doing what we have in the opening few matches, there is every chance of getting more wins on the board for our fans.”
