Charlie Boy To Leave Wigan

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has admitted he is ready to allow former Toon midfielder Charles N'Zogbia to leave the DW Stadium this summer. Always a kid who saw "the grass greener on the other side", he was always rumoured to be on the move when he was at St James' Park, and in the end some players were pleased to see the back of him. Scott Parker is famous for pinning him up against the dressing room wall when he sat phoning his friends during team-meetings. And N'Zogbia was often seen texting on his phone when he was in the dug-out at many games.  Roberto Martinez (talking to the Daily Mirror): "If they pay what we want and the chairman says we can reinvest that money, I would be prepared to let Charles N'Zogbia go. "You can't really stop him going to a big club. Let's say Birmingham come in, we don't have to sell him. "But if Manchester United come in, how are you going to stop him? "Unless he goes to a top-six team in the Premier League he will not be in a side that plays the same way as we do."
