Celtic Haven't A Cat In Hell's Chance!
The Daily Mirror (obviously stuck for a story) say Celtic are reportedly interested in taking Newcastle defender Steven Taylor on loan in January. We can all read between the lines and suss out that Taylor's snub of a Newcastle contract suggests he is looking for a move, but I can tell you now ... he will NOT be going out on loan in January ... to Celtic or anyone else. Allegedly the Tims boss Neil Lennon had inquired about Taylor in the summer, but the former Magpies captain and England under-21 international suffered a shoulder injury that, combined with a knee injury last season, has sidelined him for the last ten months. And Celtic couldn't afford him anyway! Taylor is currently on the transfer list at Newcastle and his contract expires at the end of the season.
