Carroll: 'What You See Is No Fluke!'
We suffered often from Ryan Taylor's free-kicks when he was a Wigan player and Andy Carroll says: "Ryan is forever practicing free-kicks for hours on end after training." So it was work well worth doing ... just to see the ball flash past the Chelsea goalkeeper last night. Ryan Taylor: “It was absolutely brilliant for us to get through against such a respected team as Chelsea. But I think that all of the lads that were involved deserved this victory. “We battled hard all the way through and have done what a few teams have been unable to do and score four times at Stamford Bridge. “That can only be a good thing for us but everybody was thrilled with the result and we can now look ahead to the next round. “I was just happy to see it go in and help the team get through.”
