Carroll Wants To Keeping Wearing That No 9 Shirt!
Andy Carroll is coping well with the responsibility of wearing the iconic No 9 jersey at Newcastle, and he wants to wear it for years. Andy Carroll: “Yes I want to stay at Newcastle. That’s what I want to do – this is the team I want to be at. “I want to sign another contract. “I’ve just got to keep playing my football, and hopefully it’ll come. “It was a dream to get the No 9 shirt and that’s what I am hoping continues for as long as possible. “We’ve got a good group here, and that’s what we’re aiming for. “I want to be part of it. “We know what our task is this season and it’s to stay in the league. “Then it’s to move up the table and establish ourselves.”
