Carroll To Sit Out Spurs Game
Andy Carroll has lost his battle to be fit for Saturday'sclash with Tottenham. It's rather ironic that the News Of The World predicted weeks ago he would not be ready for the fixture. But Alan Pardew said the 22-year-old's thigh injury was "not serious". Pardew has now confirmed Carroll will miss out once again, but that he is likely to resume at Fulham on Wednesday, February 2.
