Carroll starts for Magpies at Doncaster
NEWCASTLE UNITED boss Chris Hughton has shown he is still behind striker Andy Carroll by naming him in the team at Doncaster tonight.[LNB] Carroll has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons over the last 24 hours for an alleged training ground altercation with team-mate Steven Taylor.[LNB] But, while Taylor is expected to miss the rest of the season with a fractured jaw, the 21-year-old forward keeps his place up front at the Keepmoat Stadium.[LNB] Midfielder Joey Barton is also involved.
