Cheik Tiote: “I’m really disappointed, because we didn’t win.
“That’s football. We have to stay as a team, stay compact and try to win the next game.
“I think it’s going to be a tough week for us – it’s two massive matches against Man City and Chelsea.
“But I think if we stay together and do the right things, we have a chance.
“As a captain, you need to show an example, so I tried to do that in the right way.
“I think we deserved more than that, but they scored the winning goal.
“Every time we play Sunderland, it’s tough. I think we did the right things, but we conceded a goal we didn’t deserve to concede.
“It wasn’t a foul – I didn’t touch him (Fletcher). He slipped.
“They played quickly, but that’s football.
“It’s finished now, so we have to think about the next game. We have to talk about the next match.”
