"Chris Hughton will consider offers for Steven Taylor after being told by owner Mike Ashley he’ll receive no transfer cash this summer. "Hughton is also looking at loan deals in a bid to strengthen the Toon squad. "With the club’s operating losses over the last two financial years approaching £70m, Hughton will now have to decide whether to revise his shopping list or cash in on defender Taylor, 24, who could net £7m."
