Cabaye Gets Over French Hurdle

Newcastler United fans will be happy to read that ... Yohan Cabaye had a quiet night in Paris against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He was substituted in the 1-1 draw ... but came away looking fit and well.

Ans another plus ...  the Toon midfielder does not have to face the Euro 2012 qualifying play-offs in November after Les Bleus won their group.

Cabaye was booked for a 33rd-minute foul on Zvjezdan Misimovic before Edin Dzeko netted on 40 minutes.

Cabaye was subbed after an hour, but he did not feel the effects of the ankle injury that forced him off after two minutes of the previous game against Albania.

Samir Nasri levelled for France with a penalty.
