Newcastle are again linked with former Rangers forward Kris Boyd. According to reports in Glasgow, the Scotland striker would encourage interest from the Magpies ... even though there has been no formal contact from the club. Given that there are few international strikers available as free agents, Boyd says he would like a meeting with Chris Houghton and is confident he could be playing in black and white next season.
