Blues clash off
Newcastle`s Barclays Premier League fixture at Birmingham has been postponed due to snow and freezing conditions.
The ground staff had been working around the clock to ensure the pitch was playable while supporter sections of the stadium were being attended to by the club's maintenance team.
However, following incessant snowfall the road leading to the stadium became unsafe and so the decision to postpone was made on health and safety grounds.
