Bizarre Hughton Promise!
According to The People ... Chris Hughton is already trying to get his feet under the table at West Ham ... even though the Hammers still have a manager. To be honest with you, that is NOT Chris Hughton's style, and I cannot understand why he would suggest he is going to be the next West Ham manager. The People reports he would "quickly seek to boost the coaching and playing staff if he was to land the West Ham United job". The People says "one of his first jobs will be to try to sign Joey Barton from his previous club. "He would also take goalkeeping coach Paul Barron, whose sacking also upset the Newcastle players".
