Beye sets comeback date

ewcastle defender Habib Beye has revealed that he is targeting the Arsenal game on March 21st as a possible comeback date.[LNB] The 31-year-old has been out of action ever since a challenge with Wigan midfielder Lee Cattermole shattered his ankle on Boxing Day.[LNB]The former Middlesbrough youngster is yet to offer an apology for the incident but the Senegal international is only focused on a return to action.[LNB]The ex-Marseille man has become a fans' favourite since signing in August 2007 and his return will come at a vital stage in the season with the club hopeful his comeback will act as a boost for the relegation fighting Magpies.[LNB]"We have talked about Chelsea on April 4th," he told The Chronicle.[LNB]"But I would like to think I could be back in the team for the Arsenal game. I was determined to play again this season.[LNB]"On Boxing Day, they thought four months, now I am one month ahead. If I am back by the end of March there will be six or seven games to play.[LNB]"That wouldn't be bad."[LNB]
