Best Tells Rovers Fans To Learn From Toon Army!

Former Toon striker Leon Best says he sympathises with the Blackburn fans but hopes they will not lose hope of the side making a return to the Premier League this campaign.

The 26-year-old has still to make his debut for Rovers since joining the club from Newcastle in the summer, but he has told the Blackburn fans to take a leaf out of United's book and back the players to glory!

But Best does feel that, under new boss Henning Berg, Rovers are going to return to the top flight.

Leon Best: "I understand why some fans get upset and want to show their anger.

"Everyone just wants us to go up; we all want the same thing.

"The season I went up with Newcastle, when we played at home the fans were the 12th man. Sometimes that is what you need.

"We have been up and down.

"I have very high expectations of the team and I expect the highest.

"It is a very hard league but it is unbelievable seeing the fans coming back because I think that is vital."
