Ben Arfa to sign
NEWCASTLE UNITED will complete the permanent signing of Hatem Ben Arfa early next week.[LNB] Ben Arfa was on Tyneside to meet new Magpies manager Alan Pardew over the weekend when it was agreed his loan move would be made permanent when the transfer window opens next month.[LNB] Top level discussions with Marseille have taken place and an agreement is believed to have been reached on a fee worth around £5m for a player that has been on a seasonlong loan from the Stade Velodrome.[LNB] Ben Arfa has been out of action since Nigel de Jong left him with a broken tibia and fibula in his left leg during Newcastle's match at Manchester City on October 3.[LNB] But Newcastle, who are looking to attract younger players with the potential to become valuable assets, are satisfied by what they have already seen from the France international prior to his injury.[LNB]
