He has snubbed us once already to join Everton ... and now he is a flop at Goodison Park, why the hell would we want ANOTHER 'bargain bin' signing? Sunday Sun: United have discussed the Everton forward – although interest is yet to progress to a formal enquiry to current club Everton. Beckford was Leeds United’s top target in the January transfer window of their Championship-winning season, with several bids lodged to try and tempt Leeds to part with their top scorer. However, Newcastle continue to monitor developments with Beckford, who improved at Everton following a slow start to life in the Premier League.
