Kyle Walker wrote himself in to Tottenham folklore by scoring a 30-yard screamer to give Harry Redknapp's team a 2-1 victory in the north London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

Spurs took the lead through Rafael van der Vaart just before half-time, but Aaron Ramsey swept home just after the restart to make it 1-1.

The game seemed destined for a draw until the ball fell to Walker 17 minutes from time and the right-back hammered a bullet of a shot that flew past Wojciech Szczesny.

It was a strike that will live long in the memory of the Spurs fans and of the 21-year-old himself as it was his first for the club.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will feel hard done by given his team controlled much of the match, but Tottenham's superior finishing meant they prevailed to heap further pressure on the Frenchman.

Earlier, Frank Lampard netted a hat-trick as Chelsea hammered beleaguered Bolton 5-1 in front of their own fans.

And former Reebok loan star Daniel Sturridge bagged a brace of his own as the Trotters' pride - and goal difference - took a battering.

Sturridge took just 92 seconds to sink home hearts, escaping the attention of Gretar Steinsson to head downwards and into the net, before Lampard finished another slick move with ease for his 15th-minute first.

Then came three minutes to haunt Bolton's Hungarian goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, first a clumsy fumble that allowed a hopeful Sturridge shot to wriggle home followed by some poor handling which gifted Lampard his second.

Trotters boss Owen Coyle at least saw his half-time words provoke a swift response when Dedryck Boyata nodded in Martin Petrov's centre on 46.

Petrov was the man to tee up Kevin Davies for what should have been a second - instead ruled not to have crossed the line - but by that time the Blues were further out of sight, Lampard's cool finish wrapping up the points.

Andrew Johnson joined Lampard in netting a hat-trick as Fulham romped to a 6-0 victory against west London rivals QPR.

The 30-year-old broke the deadlock after just 79 seconds, before adding further goals either side of the break.

Danny Murphy's penalty along with efforts from Clint Dempsey and Bobby Zamora complemented Johnson's treble as the Cottagers secured their first Barclays Premier League win of the season.

Record signing Danny Graham grabbed his first Swansea goal as they maintained their unbeaten home record in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Stoke in a feisty Liberty Stadium encounter.

Scott Sinclair opened the scoring when he slotted his second penalty of the campaign in the 10th minute after Potters' captain Ryan Shawcross, on his 100th top-flight appearance, had made a rash challenge on Wayne Routledge.

Graham then made sure of the win with five minutes remaining as he came out on top in a challenge with Jonathan Woodgate to calmly fire home his maiden strike following a £3.5million move from Watford.
