Barton Ready To Rumble!
Steve Harper says Newcastle's forgotten man - Joey Barton - is "champing at the bit" to return to action. Newcastle have not lost at home since the defeat to Fulham last May and Harper wants to keep that run going. Steve Harper: “We’ve got Shola Ameobi and Danny Simpson due back tomorrow and Joey Barton champing at the bit. “The longer we can stay unbeaten home and away the better. “With 19 games left there is a long way to go and there will be many twists and turns, as we’ve seen. “We are not going to win every game and there plenty more battles ahead. We have to make sure we’re up for it. “It’s good now – we have players who want to be here."
