Barton Escapes Ban!
It has been confirmed Joey Barton will NOT face disciplinary action from the Football Association. Barton apparently made an offensive gesture towards Liverpool's Fernando Torres during the game on Saturday. The FA have investigated the incident that happened during Newcastle's 3-1 win over Liverpool and have decided there will not be any action taken against the former Man City midfielder. An FA spokesman said: "We will be writing to him to remind him of his responsibilities."
