Aussie On Trial At St James' Park

Alan Pardew has handed a trial to Australian teenager Curtis Good.

The 19-year-old is set to train with the Magpies after jetting to Tyneside for a 10-day trial.

The defender plays for Melbourne Heart in the Hyundai A-League, and made his debut at the start of the current campaign.

Good has made 25 appearances for the Heart.

The left-footed centre-half is an Australian Under-23 international.
