Ashley's Muppet Show - Laughing Stock Of The Country!

Joe Kinnear says that Alan Pardew greeted the news of his appointment as new director of football with "delight" ... yep, I bet he did!

We are - once again - the laughing stock of the country!

We have an owner who offers a £1m "incentive" to staff - not to keep us in the Premier League - but to beat Arsenal and put his beloved Tottenham in the European Champions League!

And now - having suffered relegation once thanks to Joe Kinnear - he brings the tosser back!

The nightmare continues under an owner who is absolutely CLUELESS about football!

As for Pardew ... I bet he pissed his pants at the news he was being "assisted" by a long lost relic of the 1980's.

A man who took Luton Town down, and got Nottingham Forest and Newcastle relegated (in all but name).

Joe Kinnear: “Before I had a meeting with Mike, Derek said he’s informed Alan, and Alan said ‘Great news – I’m delighted with that.

"At last I’ve got somebody who’s a football guy’. Derek told me he’s had a long talk with Alan, and explained that I’m coming in as director of football.

“He (Llambias) is going to go on the finance side and anything to do with football is coming my side.

“I am going to be delighted to be working with Alan.

“I saw Alan as a player – he was a heck of a player – and we bumped into each other a couple of times when he was West Ham manager.

“We are very open-minded and good with each other.

“I have the utmost respect for him and I cannot see any problems between the two of us.

“I am not the type of guy who causes problems for the sake of it. I want the best for all of us.

“I’ve been with Graham for the last three days.

“We’ve discussed all the French players and contacts that Graham knows, the players he’s brought in and we’re very happy together.

“I have known Graham for something like 20 years. He was at Tottenham.

“I know he has a good eye for a player and good contacts. We will go and see as many of these players in action and we will get in as many games as we possibly can.

“Once we see something that we think is in our budget, we will go for them. It is as simple as that.

“On the other side, if we see things that we believe are not Newcastle, and not good enough for Newcastle, then I will shift them. It is as simple as that.

“I do not want anybody there who is not good enough for Newcastle.”

"NOT GOOD ENOUGH?" WHAT ABOUT JOE KINNEAR?
