Mike Ashley is offering Newcastle United fans a 10-year season ticket . BUT he wants to get rid of the "singing corner" that starts the anti-Ashley chants at home games. United are also planning to extend the capacity of the family area inside the stadium by 1,500 seats into the north west corner of the ground, although that move may not go down well with those fans who populate the Leazes Corner singing section. With season ticket renewals and prices about to land on doormats, the Magpies' owner hopes the offer of allowing fans to peg the cost of their seat will prove popular. The club says that supporters buying their season tickets for the 2011-12 campaign will be able to continue paying the same price until 2022, as long as they keep renewing. Season tickets for adults (over-18s) will increase by £15, to include enrolment in the club’s membership scheme.
