Ashley Price Tag On Krul's Head?
According to Mike Ashley's website ... ... Newcastle United have responded to speculation that Juventus will be after their number one goalkeeper Tim Krul by slapping a £20million price-tag on his head. The Italian champions have been linked with a January move for the Dutch international as a long-term replacement for veteran keeper Gianluigi Buffon.The 25-year-old has been in fine form this season and his man of the match performance against Tottenham, in which he made 14 saves, has encouraged Antonio Conte to make a swoop.The Newcastle boss Alan Pardew, who labelled Krul as the ‘best keeper in the Premier League’ is understandably reluctant to sell his key man and according to Ashley's website 'Sports Direct', he has declared that Krul is not for sale for anything under £20m.The former ADO Den Haag man joined Newcastle in 2005 and has gone onto make 97 appearances for the Toon and is expected to force his way into the World Cup squad.
