Another Unhappy Player Banging On Hughton's Door!

As Bill Shankly always said: "Being a good manager is keeping 11 players happy ... the 11 in the reserves!" And Chris Hughton has already had unhappy 'reserves' Shola Ameobi and Ryan Taylor asking questions ... ... as to why they are sat on the bench. Now the Newcastle manager can expect the same from forward Peter Lovenkrands who has won a recall to the Denmark squad after a two-year absence. The 30-year-old, last capped in 2008, has been selected for Friday's Euro 2012 qualifier away to Portugal on Friday. BUT ... and it's a big 'but' ... Lovenkrands is yet to start a league game for the club this season, with Hughton's deployment of Kevin Nolan playing behind the lone striker. Haris Vuckic has been named in the Slovenia squad for their qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Estonia, and Joan Edmundsson is in the Faroes' squad.
