Newcastle legend Alan Shearer is 100 per cent certain he will not be the next manager of the club.[LNB]The Magpies are on the hunt for a new boss after sacking Chris Hughton on Monday - and Shearer has been among the names mentioned as a possible successor.[LNB]But the 40-year-old, whose previous stint in charge of the club coincided with their relegation from the Barclays Premier League and ended in a falling-out with owner Mike Ashley, has ruled himself out.[LNB] No return: Alan Shearer has ruled out any possibility of a return to St James' Park to replace Chris Hughton[LNB]'I won't be the next Newcastle manager,' he said, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live. [LNB]       HAVE YOUR SAY...     Has Ashley got it wrong by sacking Toon boss Hughton? Chris Hughton has sensationally been axed by Newcastle despite his impressive reign at St James' Park. The manager delivered promotion at the first attempt before comfortably guiding them to mid-table in the Premier League. Do you think chairman Mike Ashley has scored an own goal? TELL US WHAT YOU THINK 'I can guarantee you that. I have said never say never but I can guarantee I won't be the next Newcastle manager.'[LNB]Hughton's sacking with Magpies sitting a creditable 11th in the Premier League took the football world by surprise.[LNB]And Shearer, in common with many others who have spoken out publicly, thinks the Newcastle hierarchy have made a misjudgment.[LNB]He added: 'I wonder to myself where they think Newcastle should be, if they think they should be higher than mid-table because I'm not being disrespectful to the squad but they're not going to be in the top six or seven.[LNB]'That isn't Newcastle's season. Newcastle's season this year should be all about staying in the Premier League.[LNB]'At this moment intime there's no danger of them (being relegated).[LNB] All change: Hughton was sacked by Newcastle on Monday as they search for a more 'experienced' manager[LNB]'They'll be there because there's teams that are worse than them. For me, Chris was doing a very, very fine job.'[LNB]  Toon turmoil: Jol and Pardew in the frame after Newcastle sack Hughton Hughton's shock sacking leaves Newcastle captain Nolan stunnedIt's not rational!
