Alan Pardew: David Beckham is out of Newcastle's league but Spurs players aren't

Alan Pardew admits he is unsure whether or not David Beckham is a realistic transfer target for Newcastle.[LNB]Beckham could be set for a sensational return to English football this month, with Tottenham the Barclays Premier League club who have expressed the firmest interest so far in signing the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder on loan.[LNB]Asked if Beckham might be an option for the Magpies, Pardew said: 'I don't know. I think he is a player that could play in this team and could add something to this squad, but whether he is available to us, I am not aware of yet.'[LNB] We can afford these: Robbie Keane (left) and David Bentley top Newcastle's list[LNB]Pardew, whose team won 1-0 at Wigan yesterday, wants to bolster his attack in the transfer window and has also been linked with Spurs duo David Bentley and Robbie Keane.[LNB]When asked about the pair, the manager said: 'I can't say we haven't spoken to Spurs because I was speaking to them last week and we talked about players.[LNB]'I think they want to do some movement and we want to do some movement.
