12 Toon Fans To Be Arrested!
Two Newcastle fans have been banned for three years from attending any football stadium in Britain ... and a further 12 arrests are expected over the coming weeks. Work continues between the police and Darlington and Newcastle Utd football clubs to root out those responsible for the disorder at the pre-season game between the two clubs. Chief Inspector Chris Reeve said: “We have already identified a number of people responsible and are continuing to trace the others. “We anticipate making a number of arrests and will continue tracking down the irresponsible minority who ruin games for the responsible majority.”
