Van Bommel, Bouma out for Dutch friendly

New Dutch coach Louis van Gaal on Wednesday announced a 32-man squad for the friendly against Belgium, leaving out Mark van Bommel and Wilfred Bouma but bringing back Urby Emanuelson.

Eleven players who were not picked by former manager Bert van Marwijk are in the squad, including Emanuelson, who plays for AC Milan, while Bas Dost, Jordy Clasie and Ricardo van Rhijn are called up for the first time.

The squad will be cut back to about 20 on August 10, five days before the match in Brussels.
