Coming off the back of two consective friendly defeats the Netherlands edged past Slovakia on Wednesday in a Euro 2012 warm up thanks to an own goal and a late strike from substitute Rafael Van der Vaart.
On the downside playmaker Wesley Sneijder went off injured in the 51st minute, and was replaced by Van der Vaart.
Ibrahim Afellay forced an own goal from Kornel Salata as early as the 7th minute, while the second came on 75 minutes.
In another notable incident central defenders John Heitinga and Wilfred Bouma banged into each other inside the first minute and it took them several minutes to get back on their feet and carry on.
