Napoli to sign Boca midfielder

Napoli are set to bolster their squad with the capture of left-sided midfielder Jesus Alberto Datolo from Boca Juniors.

The Naples-based club's director, Pierpaolo Marino, has admitted that he has been chasing the 24-year-old for some time.

"There are still medical examinations to be done as with any transfer," he told RadioKissKiss.

"But the signing is already in the pipeline. Until there are the signatures I cannot give any official notice, but it is likely nothing will happen to get in the way.

"Datalo is a player we've followed for a long time. On the left he can play any role, he has a lovely left strike, able to take corner kicks and penalties. At Banfield, I say him play on the right as well."

Datolo moved to Boca Juniors from Banfield in 2006.

  Napoli should forfeit all their recent home matches! Look at the video of the field during the most recent game v Udinese. I also saw the tv broadcast of their 3-0 win over Lecce on 13 Dec 2008, and the lines were there too. Both goal areas have illegal lines on the six yard line in front of each goal. At both ends these 12-18" lines protrude perpendicular to the six yard line exactly in line with the goal posts behind the goalkeeper. Law one states that "Only the lines indicated in law one are to marked on the field of play." How can you justify this clear breach of law one and explain why Napoli should not be sanctioned?
