Napoli star Gonzalo Higuain said that he was not interested in joining Arsenal.
Arsenal were interested in the former Real Madrid striker and was also linked to the player's father and agent but failed to conclude the deal.
But The Argentine international says that he never met with the London outfits and he never had any doubts about joining the Italian side Napoli.
The Times (subscription required) asked him that whether he was aware of Arsenal's interest in him, he replied “Yes, but I did not speak to them.”
Arsenal wanted to sign him and they were also linked to his father for negotiations, but it was Napoli in the end who bought him.
