Gargano unhappy with Napoli

Napoli midfielder Walter Gargano is seeking contract negotiations after impressing during his first two seasons with the club.

The 25-year-old Uruguay international's agent feels that his client is not being highly valued enough in Naples and wants to speak to club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Vincenzo D'Ippolito told Radio Goal: "I spoke with the president, who does not want to touch Gargano's contract.

"The player is bitter. It's a question of balance. There are some of his companions that do not play and earn more.

"When he arrived in Naples, he was content to receive half of what others were offering because he had a great desire to wear the Azzurri shirt.

"I hope in the future that things can be clarified with De Laurentiis."
