Serie A title chasers Napoli could be without their main goalscorer, Edinson Cavani, for the visit of Chievo Sunday after the Uruguayan international pulled up in training, media reported Saturday.
Cavani, who has scored six goals in eight league games this season, is set to undergo a fitness test early on Sunday.
The loss of Cavani could be felt by Walter Mazzarri's side, who host Chievo a week after suffering their first league defeat of the season, away to Juventus.
Cavani returned from international duty only 36 hours before that loss.
Ahead of Sunday's game at the San Paolo stadium, Napoli sit second in the table, three points behind champions Juventus, who are away to Catania in Sunday's early game.
