Motherwell boss Maurice Malpas has confirmed that he will allow midfielder Shaun Fagan to leave the club at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old former Scotland Under-21 international has not featured for Well for over a year and was recently loaned out to Stenhousemuir.
Malpas told the Wishaw Press: "We made Shaun aware a while ago that we weren't going to give him a new contract.
"He's a kid who's come through the club and he's had a bad time with injuries.
"We have no problems with him, but we just think he'd be better off elsewhere and hopefully we can help him find a new club."
Meanwhile, the Steelmen are set to be without striker Ross McCormack for more than a month after he suffered a knee injury during a reserve team outing.
