Motherwell fear that they will miss out on bringing Blackburn's Gavin Gunning back to the club on loan.[LNB] The 20-year-old Irishman finished last season on loan at Fir Park from Blackburn, making 11 appearances in the process.[LNB]Gunning is entering the final year of his Rovers deal and Motherwell believe his agent wants him to remain in England.[LNB]However, the club will still be tabling their 'best' offer and they still hope to make at least one more signing before the window closes.[LNB]"We've been talking to Gavin but we really need some feedback from Blackburn as it seems to have gone a bit quiet," said Well number two Kenny Black.[LNB]"He's in the last year of his contract and it doesn't look like he will be figuring in the first team.[LNB]"But it seems his agent wants him to stay in England and two or three clubs are interested.[LNB]"All we can do is put in our best offer and see what happens.[LNB]"We're still looking to bring in at least one player. If I'm being honest we'd probably want more than that as we have a small squad."
