Sixes winners to play at Fir Park
Motherwell FC has agreed that the winners of this year's Timetra Supporters Sixes will play on the pitch at the half time interval during one of the early games of the new season. They will face last year’s winners in a ten minute game near the start of the new season. The date can’t be fixed until the new fixture list appears at the end of this week. It’s a great incentive for local teams to enter the popular tournament that will be held on the Astroturf at Fir Park on Saturday 25 June. An afternoon’s football is available to any team (squad size 6 to 8) that can find the £35 entry fee. Showers, post match food and the Cooper Bar will be available after the games for relaxation and the trophy presentation. Interest is expected to be high and with a maximum of fifteen places up for grabs. Entries can only be confirmed following payment of the entry fee.
