Semi final draw
Success in the quarter final replay at the end of March will deliver a semi final with Brechin City or St Johnstone. The draw was made at the Inverclyde National Sports Training Centre on Monday afternoon. Before we anticipate possible Hamden glory there is the small matter of the replay against Dundee United. The SFA circular this morning confirmed Tuesday 29 March as the date for the second attempt to find a winner of the quarter final despite the accompanying internationals. Scotland play Brazil on Sunday 27th and there is a full rota of Euro qualifiers scheduled for the 29th – including Northern Ireland v Slovenia which will involve Craigan. The full semi draw is: Dundee United or Motherwell v Brechin City or St Johnstone St Mirren or Aberdeen v Inverness Caledonian Thistle or Celtic The ties are due to be played on the weekend of 16/17 April.
