Reynolds happy with Well stay

Motherwell defender Mark Reynolds is happy that he has remained at Fir Park, having been the subject of a major bid from Rangers in the summer.

The 21-year-old is set to complete a century of appearances for the Steelmen this weekend and is content to continue his development with his hometown club.

He told The Herald: "Playing week-in, week-out is brilliant for my development.

"You see a lot of guys aged 19, 20, 21 playing periodically, sitting on the bench coming on here and there.

"I think I am right when I say I was the only person to have played every minute of every game in the SPL last year, so that is another thing that is pleasing for me."
