Porter targets better return

Summer signing Chris Porter admits that he has been disappointed with his form this season, following his move from Oldham Athletic to Motherwell.

The 23-year-old has netted six goals in 15 games for the Steelmen, but says he wants to improve on that return in the coming months.

He told the club's official website: "I think it is a step up from League One down south.

"The big teams like Rangers and Celtic are Premier League standard and the others are also a step up.

"I am not overly pleased with my contribution at the moment, as I thought I would have a few more goals by now.

"I have got six, which is not great, and hopefully I will get a few more."
