Porter plans scoring spree

Motherwell striker Chris Porter is confident his rich vein of goalscoring form is set to continue.

The 24-year-old's displays have mirrored that of the Steelmen as he failed to score in the first nine matches of the campaign as Mark McGhee's side struggled.

However, he has found the net four times in the last four matches - three of which Motherwell have won to move up to fourth in the table.

The former Bury and Oldham Athletic forward said: "It's strange because when I was down south, I always seemed to get off to a great start and then not get as many goals towards the end of the season.

"Up here it seems to be the other way round. So hopefully I will get better and better as the season goes on."
