Next up - St Johnstone

The bandwagon rolls on to Perth this weekend but we will face a tough challenge to keep our winning run going. St Johnstone are a solid addition to the SPL and though a top six finish is unlikely, they are not in any danger of being relegated. We were last in at McDiarmid Park on the opening day of the season when a thrilling game ended in a 2-2.  That seems like a life time ago, under the August sun and under the leadership of Jim Gannon, but things have improved from our perspective since then.  Our last match against St Johnstone was also the final match Gannon was in charge and we crashed to a diabolical 3-1 home defeat but we will surely fare better this time around.    Forbes & pals celebrate in Perth The Motherwell team is fairly settled, certainly at the back, with Ruddy and the defence only conceding  one goal in our last nine league games, a simply fantastic record.  The midfield should see Jennings and Lasley continue in the centre with Coke and Humphrey remaining in place if O'Brien hasn't recovered from illness.  McGlinchey and Forbes are further options  but are likely to be on the bench.  In the attack Murphy will surely play having scored in the last two games but with Jutkiewicz not fully fit, Sutton may get another run out.  Our previous matches against the Saints this season have shown us this will be an incredibly hard game but we must be full of confidence now.  Even if we do lose a goal for once, hopefully we can pinch a couple at the other end and emerge with a 2-1 victory.   Remember the last time we were in Perth?
