The Motherwell squad should be fully rested given the midweek cancellation and only Jennings will be missing from our full strength eleven as he completes his two match suspension. Manager McCall was not impressed with the team's performance at Tynecastle last week and he acknowledged the loss of Jennings in the middle of the park. Hughes is not a straight replacement and it will be interesting to see if he retains his starting place. The options are limited though - Carswell (only four years old when we last won at Ibrox) might be given chance of the big stage but another possibility might be to play Clancy at right back allowing Hateley to move up one.
The players have talked about bigger pitches away from home giving the team more chance to exploit their pace in attack. If ever there was a time for them to deliver on that theory then this is it. Rangers are not a team of outstanding footballers and with two defeats still fresh in the memory nerves might get the better of them. If we can get to half time without conceding the crowd could turn.
There will be a minute's silence before kick off as a mark of respect for those lost in the ibrox Disaster.
There are suggestions that McCulloch may be a doubt after picking up a knock at but we will have to be on top form if we are to take anything from the game. McCall will underline the need for self belief but we'll also need wee bit of luck if we are to take anything from the game. We will travel in hope but realists not be surprised at a 2-0 loss.
