Next up - Inverness

Regardless of whether taking 'only' a point from Killie last week is construed as a set-back, we will be hopeful of winning at Inverness. However, another tricky game lies in store.

We will run into the familiar faces of Butcher and Malpas in the home dugout and will be aware that we have a good record against TB and an equally impressive tally against Inverness in their home town.  Indeed it seems like one of the most fruitful hunting grounds we visit as the 8 wins from our 14 visits to the Caledonian Stadium confirm.

Inverness do not have their problems to seek but have at least overcome the horrific start which suggested they may not even battle relegation but sleepwalk towards it.  However, player for player we would seem considerably stronger and three points must be the goal.

Saunders is joined by McHugh on the long term injury list following his ankle injury in the warm up for a midweek bounce game.  McCall’s attacking options are now severely limited and Daley is the only option Daley. It seems likely that we’ll start with the usual suspects in place.

Inverness are laudably hosting a Family Fun Day on this Halloween weekend but charging £15 on top of the ticket price to take part in the festivities suggests few will take up the offer.

A hardy group of Motherwell fans, no doubt many of whom will be frustrated by the alcohol ban on the long train journey, will make the trek north and all being well will return home happy with a 2-0 win in the bag.

Remember the last time we were in Inverness?
