McCall waits on one
Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has an unnamed injury doubt for the Scottish Premiership clash with Ross County.
McCall, who made five changes for the midweek League Cup win over Livingston, has delayed naming his team until Saturday.
McCall said on Friday: "Someone pulled out of training yesterday with a little niggle and we'll decide tomorrow if it's worth the risk."
Motherwell's form has pushed them into fourth place and a League Cup quarter-final against Aberdeen.
"Hopefully we can kick on and show people that were maybe doubting us at the start of the season that we will be up there challenging," said midfielder Stuart Carswell.
"We have done it the last two seasons and I don't see why we can't do it this year. And the League Cup is anybody's this year.
"There is a lot of exciting ties in the draw and I think everybody that goes through will fancy their chances.
"Aberdeen have put us out the last few cups so it would be nice to get our own back."
County remain without striker Orhan Mustafi, who is several weeks away from returning from a broken toe.
Melvin de Leeuw is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to score the equaliser and set up a late winner against Hearts.
Manager Derek Adams wants to get far enough away from the bottom of the table to be able to push on in January without the threat of relegation.
County remain 15 points ahead of Hearts despite the Edinburgh club making decent progress into their pre-season punishment.
"We know the points total we want to get to in January and then we will look to take our season forward from there," Adams said.
"We had a fantastic period from last January, we got eight wins from 11 matches in our first season in the SPL.
"We have to look at being able to gather points to move away from the bottom of the table, which every team is aiming to do, and move forward from there."
