Motherwell supporters' team under starter's orders for Race Night

The football team is having the standard Race Night in a few weeks time. Was wondering if you'd be good enough to add some details to the website. I've pulled a short article together below.

Fir Park Corner Football Club are planning a triumphant return for their regular Race Night. The event takes place on the evening of Saturday 6th April at the Jack D’s Bar in Motherwell, with doors open at 7.30pm.

It’s been a transitional season for the Motherwell supporters’ team but they’ve begun to find their feet with two wins and a draw in their last three matches in the IFA Scottish League.

On the night, the eight race card will give you a chance to stick a line on and who knows you might even pick yourself a winner. As you would expect the bar will be open throughout the evening.

If lady luck is not with you for the races, you can console yourself with our prize raffle draw and there are a number of other competitions taking placing throughout the evening. The eighth race is our main event, the ever popular auction race.

It is the ideal opportunity to relax and chew the fat with fellow ‘Well fans following the big team’s game against St. Mirren earlier in the day. Tickets, costing £3, are available now from the Jack D’s Bar and direct from Fir Park Corner players.

There are also a number of race and programme sponsor opportunities which are ideal for local businesses. Further information is available by e-mailing racenight@firparkcornerfc.com.
