Motherwell supporters' team under starters orders for Race Night

FirParkCorner FC are planning a triumphant return for their regular Race Night, following an amazing start to the season. The event takes place on the evening of Friday 28th October at the Joker Bar in Mossend, with the first race off at 8pm.

The Motherwell supporters’ team picked up both the IFA Scottish and British League titles in Leeds during July and the trophies will take pride of place at the event. Following a good start to the new league season, the team’s attentions are turning to the IFA National Cup. The draw for the First Round sees the Corner travel to London where they will take on West Ham fans during November with the Race Night helping to raise funds for the long trip south.

On the night, the eight race card will give you a chance to stick a line on and who knows you might even pick yourself a winner. As you would expect the bar will be open throughout the evening.

If lady luck is not with you for the races, you can console yourself with our prize raffle draw and there are a number of other competitions taking placing throughout the evening. The eighth race is our main event, the ever popular auction race.

It is the ideal opportunity to relax or chew the fat with fellow ‘Well fans prior to the team’s trip to Inverness.

Tickets, costing £3, are available now from the Joker Bar, ‘Well Shop and direct from Fir Park Corner players. Further information is available by e-mailing racenight@firparkcornerfc.com.
